IPSLC GOLF TOURNAMENT - September 15th
Congratulations to Lianna Ostler and her golf committee for a very successful golf tournament. Because of this successful fundraising event, IPSLC will donate $4,500 to the Professional Firefighters Association Burn Camp. We anticipate the presentation to take place later this month at one of the local fire stations. Way to go Lianna and committee! See below for pictures at golf tournament and check presentation.

UTAH COUNCIL MEETING - September 23rd and 24th - Hyatt Place
Heidi Willes, Utah Council Director conducted a very informative and successful council meeting on September 23rd and 24th at the Hyatt Place in Salt Lake. Her theme, Growing Together, was very appropriate as IPSLC has several new members. Kathleen Kerstenbeck, ARM, CPIW, Region VIII Vice President was our special guest.
Jean Bluck, CISR, CPIW, DAE, Past RVP was elected as Utah Council Director-elect
Ann Green, RHU, CPIW, DAE was elected as delegate to Region VIII Nominating Committee
Gayle Bird, CISR, CPIW was elected as alternate to Region VIII Nominating Committee
CONFIDENCE WHILE COMMUNICATING - Congratulations to the participants in the 2011 Confidence While Communicating class. Participants include: Shauna Barton, Gayle Bird, Cecily Egan, Cortney Hall, Jan Peterson, Jordan Simons and Heidi Willes. We've been extremely pleased and equally impressed with the creative topics and great presentations by these students. Please join us for the local speak-off to be be held at the regular meeting on November 15th.
